My payments for the 2008 management fees where
sent to Atlanta, according to instructions from
Hilton in Orlando.
My problem is I now have a letter that one of my four units had not been paid on time by February 15. I have already been fined $25 for this outsourcing job.
My cancelled check was in my local bank before Feb 15, 2008.
The full amount for my 4 units was cashed in.
If Hilton in Orlando had been in charge I am sure they would have found I had 4 bills and one payment on 1 check.
I am sure the check cashers in the Atlanta outsourcing office had no idea what they were doing.
just opening envelopes and stamping the checks, a job Hilton found themselves unwilling to perform.
Outsourcing cost money, and I am sure this is added to our Hilton Million Dollar fees so they can save the large jobs collecting annual sums by the Million for the Hilton. Hilton must be understaffed, not able to open their own correspondance.
I am mentioning this, since I recalled several owners wrote about the same experience in 2007.
Did all get a satisfactory explanation then?
Carl
