Hi folks -
Just thought I'd write to some people who actually care. Not sure that the management at the resort does. But before you rent out your units, you should really advise renters of the reality of costs. For example, we came to find that for fresh towels we would be dinged $10, for maid service we would be dinged $50, and for beach chairs/umbrellas, an extra what $175 a week or something like that? That's crazy. Not to mention some of the service is REALLY lacking. Some of it is just great - bar staff is super, hair braiding lady was awesome, and some of the beach guys were great. But what's up with the laziness and uncaring coming from some of the non-English speaking beach guys? That's ridiculous. And why does the pool look like a mess at the end of the day? Everybody leaves and garbage is strewn abour and piles of dirty towels sit by the station? Really disappointed by this high end property. You need to talk to management, as we certainly won't come back and we will not be recommending the propety to others. I've heard our beloved Sundial has gone down hill as well, so not sure if there is a general malaise going on with properties, or if Blackstone is ruining everything or what is up. |
