I agree wholeheartedly with your comments. Very well put. I wonder if Beach Lover, whose positive comments follow yours, is an owner at CB?
I would add one thought.. we owners all owe Carl a hugh debt of gratitude for all he has done or tried to do for us over the years.

Lynn,
I have been an owner for 14 years now and have no knowledge of why parts of Casa were sold and really don't care. Like you said, it's over and lets move on. I realize Carl has been around forever and has a hard time letting go. However, it seems to me that he has the best interest of Casa Ybel(and the owners) in mind. Your remarks were rather harsh and maybe uncalled for. His remarks and other owners remarks have a lot of validity. I do belive the hurrican situation was a mamoth debocal that cost the owners thousands of dollars.

I very much take exception to your remarks regarding the weddings. Why should WE care if the weddings make the restaurant profitable? The food isn't that good and it's over priced! In the latest Sandscript, they suggest that the new sliding glass doors are more soundproof and that by closing them we won't hear the music from the receptions. EXCUSE ME. I happen to like to hear the sound of the gulf while I relax on MY vacation. I get one week a year, and pay **** good money to hear that and not wedding music!

This is someting that has happened just recently that maybe we could have done something about, not by dick jackson years ago. With this website, at least it's a way to communicate with other owners so that maybe we can avoid the next "wedding" problems. Lynn, tell me again why this website remains unknown to the majority of owners? It seems that the board might be a little concerned what could happen if the owners were united.

We stopped going to the owners meetings a couple of years ago because I can only have so much sunshine blown up my butt before I realize I've just wasted 2 hours of valuable vacation time.

In conclusion, We are still generally happy with the way Casa is operated and will continue to look forward to our next visit. Please do not confuse some of these posts as being negative for the wrong reasons. I'm sure other contributors as myself have better things to do with our time.
