Sad fact - Don Sutton spent the first 15 years of his career with the Dodgers, and was on three World Series losing teams. He was traded by Houston to Milwaukee in 1982 in time to lose the World Series that year. He was on the 1986 California Angels team that was one out away from the World Series before impliding and blowing a 3-1 series lead to the Red Sox. In 1988, he spent his final year with the Dodgers, but was released in August of that year, two months before the Dodgers would win the Series. I mean, it ain't Ernie Banks, but sad nonetheles. |

It ain't Santo sad either, seing as how he is in the Hall of Fame. Also, I'm sure Sutton got a ring for '88. |
