New Caledonians, I greatly need your help. I'm looking for a friend and her daughter. They moved to New Caledonia not long ago. They are Julie Harris and her daugther Sophie.
I met them in Paris where they used to live. I worked as babysitter of my friend's daugther Sophie. They are the most wonderful people you can ever meet. With a great heart and very brave. Sophie loves Abba, the music group from the 70's, can you imagine a 9 yeard old girl that loves Abba ? She is that wonderful. She is a great girl, must be 15 by now. I use to take care of her in the afternoons and we would go to the park, museums or just spend the day singing to Abba.
For some time I was studying in Paris and after I met them, they left a great impression in my heart. I am now living in Houston, in the United States. I was able to see them again after I got married, my wife and I went to Paris and we met again.
Now we are expecting our first child, a girl. And I'm going to name my daugther after my friends daugther, Sophie. Well, its Sofia in spanish. And I'm looking for them to let them know.
I called their number in Paris and no answer, in Julie's work they told me that she moved to New Caledonia.
I know that in New Caledonia the population is not too big, I ask for your help to try to find my friends. I remember Julie told me that maybe she would move near Australia to work for her old boss, I think he was in the airline industry.
I just want to let them know that I'm having a daugther and her name will be Sophie. In honor to my friend's daugther. This is something larger than life.
Could you help me check in the phone book, maybe call some radio stations or TV stations, or start spreading the word, maybe someone knows them. This is something very important for me.
