Joyce, a lot of people were thinking of "Sambo" on her birthday!!!! Please know that no one has just forgotten about her!!!! We all still LOVE her & MISS her just the same. It's just that some of us may not know what to say or what to do at a time like this. She is still thought about just as much as she was 5 years ago!!! |

Joyce, I can't imagine your loss. When I think of losing Kayla my breath is taken away so quickly that I have to replace the thought with something else. Kayla has never forgotten Sam and the influence she had on her. She looked up to Sam and so should those that were her friends. It is hard to find words to say to someone that has lost someone so close, but it is those times that being a true friend shines through. A phone call, a dropped note in the mail, every tiny thing counts to the heart of the one that has suffered a loss. How easy it is to take that moment to offer support compared to your hurt. I talk to you openly about Sam as though she could look down upon us because she can. All souls that ascend to heaven descended for only a while. How long that time is we don not know, but you can be sure that God allows us the privelage of looking down on our loved ones once we have rejoined him. So take everyday as you have in the past knowing that God sees everything we do, so also does Sam see you. She would want you to be happy, enjoy your time with your family now and when God is ready you will all join together once again. I believe that and I teach Kayla that. She too looks forward to seeing Sam again. I love you and will do whatever it takes to keep you going for those that still need you. Your friend always, Laura

JOYCE, JUST REPLYING TO THE MESSAGE THAT WAS POSTED. SAM WAS A WONDERFUL FRIEND TO EVERYONE!! AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE, WE ALL STILL THINK ABOUT HER & LOVE HER. I DON'T SEE HOW SOMEONE CAN DETERMINE WHO HER TRUE FRIENDS ARE, WHEN THEY MAY NOT EVEN KNOW THE REASON BEHIND WHAT IS SAID. YES, A TRUE FRIEND IS THERE WHEN THEY ARE NEEDED. I'VE TOLD YOU BEFORE WHEN THIS HAPPENED THAT I WAS HERE IF YOU NEEDED ME, JUST TO LET ME KNOW. THAT STILL STANDS, BUT NOW IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE HATEFUL FEELINGS TOWARD SO MANY PEOPLE THAT SHOULDN'T BE THERE. AND YES, SAM IS LOOKING DOWN ON EVERY ONE OF US AND YES, SHE SEE'S EVERYTHING THAT IS GOING ON. I'M SURE SHE WOULDN'T WANT THINGS TO BE THE WAY THEY ARE WITH THE FEELINGS THAT ARE BEING SHARED. I DO AGREE THAT SHE WOULD WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY AND ENJOY EVERY MINUTE YOU SPEND WITH YOUR FAMILY. SAM WAS LOOKED UPON BY MANY, NOT JUST ONE OR TWO PEOPLE. SHE WAS THOUGHT OF GREATLY, AND NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS OR DOES, I KNOW DEEP IN MY HEART AND SO DO OTHERS, THAT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE OUR FRIEND. NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY THE FRIENDSHIPS THAT SHE HAD!! SHE WILL NEVER, EVER BE FORGOTTEN!! |
