Long overdue cd re-release of Chris' first 3 solo lp's
Hi Chris! Is the long overdue cd re-release of your first 3 solo vinyl albums already a subject matter or - even better - in the pipeline? These would be greatly appreciated - I guess - by all your fans.

Bummer!! More than 25 views already but still no replies to this post. Looks like there's no interest in the wished for cd re-releases. If Chris should ever read these lines for sure the absence of positive replies will not encourage him to think about a cd re-release of his first 3 vinyl lp's. |

Hey John Maybe one day, who knows? I expect there would be issues over publishing rights etc., but we can live in hope. In the meantime, check out here http://www.thebridgehousee16.com/shop.html for a dvd which, amongst other things features Chris performing at a Bridge House reunion night last year. |

John Chris' 3rd and IMHO best solo LP (High Cost of Living) is available for free download on this site: http://www.christhompson-central.com/downloads/index.html Also, easily the best track from the 2nd LP Radio Voices ("Shift in the wind" including Brian May on guitar) is included on the Backtrack CD. There are a few standout tracks from the 1st LP (Out of the night) that would be good candidates for inclusion on a CD compilation (e.g. it's gonna be alright & Games). I've got a USB record deck that I've used to transfer the LP to MP3 format with OK results. It would be good to hear a professionally done version. For reference, details of the early LPs are included on Karen's CT pages: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Hall/1836/disc.html Cheers, Andy |
