"It is indeed silly when we are talking about changes in the genetic code that occurred about a quarter of a billion years ago. We don't have the genes of the predecessor and we don't have the genes of the progeny. So exactly how could you know the exact mutations that occurred?"

Do you believe that genetic modification back then was more complex than it is now? If "yes," please explain your rational and provide any evidence that would back it up.

If you believe the same principles apply to current evolutionary processes, you should have no problem giving us step-by-step genetic scenarios of evolution in progress.

In regard to you comment:

"We can understand evolutionary processes by comparing fossilized tissue. We won't have it for these structures because they don't fossilize."

1. I take it you were refering to the creation of basic hearing. I didn't ask you to prove it occurred, only to give a shot at explaining hypothetical genetic step-by-step processes.

2. If you can't even come up with hypothetical processes of evolution occurring, why would do you expect us to believe that it does. Should we just take your word for it?

3. Since evolutionists claim that they actually have MANY mammal/reptile to bird transitional fossils, then this exercise should be no problem for you:

Give us a hypothetical step-by-step scenario of the first three mutations (or whatever genetic mechanism you choose) that would change a leg into a wing.

In regard to your comment:

"Beyond that, this is a question of science not geometry.

Are you claiming that the challenge to explain the genetic changes required to create novel or more complex traits is related to geometry? Please explain in detail because I don't quite get the connection.

In regard to your comment:

"This exercise would neither prove or disprove evolution."

On the contrary. You could advance your cause enormously if you would just indulge us.

It is indeed silly when we are talking about changes in the genetic code that occurred about a quarter of a billion years ago. We don't have the genes of the predecessor and we don't have the genes of the progeny. So exactly how could you know the exact mutations that occurred?

We can understand evolutionary processes by comparing fossilized tissue. We won't have it for these structures because they don't fossilize.

Beyond that, this is a question of science not geometry. This exercise would neither prove or disprove evolution.
