Something to reply to...
As I check this forum regularly, I have noticed there are many who seem to be reading the posts, but aren't responding. I realize that is because many of the posts don't really require a response. So I thought since this is supposed to be a place of fellowship, I might post something to give all of us who are visiting this forum a chance to respond. I encourage others to do so as well. I hope this gets everybody talking (or in this case typing). So here it goes... Complete this statement: "One of my favorite memories of Pollard Baptist Church would be..." |

Mine would have to have been in Gatlinburg when Brandy put the snake in our shower and me and Michelle Rupert took off running out the door screaming.

As awful as it seems, any memory of the van breaking down is great! Awful times, but funny memories! |

Abe Lincoln!!! Gives new meaning to "jumping the gun." Everyone involved in that skit amazed me how they continued their lines, GREAT ACTORS! As a teenager... me falling in the MIDDLE of the ice-skating rink, and couldn't get up! I had to crawl all the way to the edge! SCREAM! My lizard encounter on New Year's Eve, Chris' house! Joey camping on crutches! Enough said? Canoe race, GONE WRONG! THE CROW CALL, that saved my life! Getting myself ejected from the go-cart track at the beach, just good clean competitiveness! Matt Carter's quote, "WWHAAATTT?"! (: Of course, the horse shoe that somehow ended up on the roof at 4H, so I have bad aim! (: There's no place like Pollard!

There is no way that I could choose just one memory...LOL Ummm let me see... The Gatlinburg trip was awesome...I remember the Rock-A-Thons...The many many football Sundays...Scandenger Hunts...The programs...the fellowship...the friends. Everything is just great. We had some good times, and these times can still continue. I hope that we will see some familiar faces in the future (including mine, yes I know). Of course we cannot forget the new ones, too! This way we can create more of those wonderful memories that pop up in our minds when we think about our great church :) |
