What are you thankful for?
Hey everyone! My friend Kim, had a great idea and posted a message listing the things she is thankful for. In honor of Thanksgiving, lets start a string of thankfulness to God. Let everyone know what He has done for you. I am thankful first of all for my relationship with God, my salvation. When all else fails, God is still there. Thankful for my parents who give me unconditional love. Thankful for my husband, who is my best friend and a treasured life partner. I am so thankful to God for giving me Jacob, what a gift, he is so precious to me. Thankful for my brother (Lloyd)and sisters (Nessa, Paige, and Angie) they all mean so much to me! Thankful for all of my family and friends. God has given us so much and He has always taken care of us.

There is so much to say that I can only being to list a few. God has been soooo good to me. He has given me a wonderful husband (who is ALMOST perfect!), Austen (who has been more of a blessing to me than he will ever know), Rob (who tolerates me, even though I'm the evil stepmother), and an OUTRAGEOUS amount of family and friends. You may not know from how much I complain about my back hurting, my hand hurting, my legs burning, etc. but I really am thankful that I am not in worse shape. I do know I would not still be here, but by the Grace of God. I realize that I could have been paralyzed, but God chose differently. So, even though I am not physically the way I used to be, I am so thankful to God for allowing me to be as healthy as I am. God has supplied and will continue to supply every need. I don't always get what I want, but so many times I do get what I don't deserve. I am grateful for a loving God that is forgiving and looks beyond my faults. I have to say how much I love our church and the great people that attend Pollard! I am excitied about the way God is working and I look forward to seeing what all He has in store for us! In everything, give Him thanks! |

There is so much to be thankful for that I'm having trouble trying to find a place to start. First of all I just have to say that my life has been very challenging for as long as I can remember but through it all I know that I have always had God on my side. I am most thankful for being saved and having Jesus in my life. I am thankful for the wonderful parents I have and that they raised my sister and I in church. I am thankful for my little man Nikolas. It was he and I for such a long time and he was my reason to wake up everyday and make it through the heartaches and pain. Thankful for my wonderful husband and my very best friend, who not only took me but Nikolas too with loving open arms. I am so thankful for our little miracle baby Dustan who has been such a blessing in our lives. I have a great sister whom I am very thankful for as well as all my wonderful friends who are always there for me when I need them. God has blessed my life in so many ways and I will always be thankful for that.

I forgot to put in my last post how grateful I am to have such good teachers in our children's department. It is a comfort to know that Austen is being taught about God and having fun while learning. I don't worry when he is with any of the teachers because I know he is in very good hands. Thanks! I have told Joey many times what a great job he is doing with the Pals. I know Rob really respects and admires Joey. That says alot, because in this day, sometimes teens don't have the role models that they should. Joey and Brandy are top notch. |
