DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!
The results are back from the National Statistical Board... after much debate they have decided to only count non-famous people. Although they did want to give honorable mention to Joey who seems to have the most imaginary friends. (: Heather who inspired it all, ended up with 10 posts Tianne had 12 posts, Joey ended up with 7 (of course counting Brandy's 5 posts!!), and the Rodkey's ended up as the champions...they got 16 posts!!!! The Rodkey's win a grand prize...of being named PBC November Champions, can't beat that! (LOL)Congratulations and thank you to all, for all the good laughs and fun! Now the next challenge..whoever can name the most Christmas movies, without duplicating someone else..wins! The challenge doesn't begin until tomorrow Dec. 6th...You have until December 31st! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I've looked at these postings several times but never posted anything myself. But this competion brought a response. Do you people do anything except watch Christmas movies & tv shows?? :) James & Joey sure have spent a lot of time in front of the screen, haven't they? |

Well, there was another less popular Little House Christmas episode that I was going to mention, that being 'Christmas at Plum Creek', but I thought that would just be showing off. HAHA! |

Hahaha. Yeah some of those you listed Joey, Tianne wanted me to post but I was too conservative saying well they weren't really in the Christmas spirit. And yes there are some more but I will leave those for others to post, I've written a list of others I forgot and though Joey hit a couple he didn't get them all. So though I doubt there are enough left out there to post enough to win people could post some more. |

Saying I listed some that weren't quite "in the Christmas spirit" is pretty ironic, James, considering you inspired me to list some of mine when you listed 'Narnia'! And by the way, read the end of my original post...I stopped myself early. I could have surpassed triple digits easily! After all, no one has even mentioned a classic like "Babes in Toyland" yet and there's plenty of obscure ones left like "Ren and Stimpy's Have Yourself a Stinky Christmas".

Your right Joey, Narnia having father Christmas in it has much less "Christmas spirit" than Die Hard I and II and Lethal Weapon !! I will admit, I wanted to list those too, they were all based at Christmas time, protecting the ones you love from the bad guys. (: I think James is jealous because he didn't listen to me and list them first.(: He thought of another one last night, "Robbie the Reindeer". Hey, keep the Little House on the Prairie episodes rolling. If anyone has any old copies, I love Little House!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

Tianne, The movie pics of mine that you mentioned are the exact ones along with some others that I anticipated would inspire debate and controversy, but they WERE prompted by the Narnia pick. However, to try to bring back some credibility to my list, I offer the following additional movies that hopefully are a little bit more in the "Christmas spirit". Here we go: The Christmas Shoes Veggie Tales: The Toy That Saved Christmas Veggie Tales: The Star of Christmas Unaccompanied Minors Trapped in Paradise Go! Diego, Go! Diego Saves Christmas Reindeer Games Chasing Christmas A House Without a Christmas Tree The Family Man My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas Once Upon a Christmas Twice Upon a Christmas Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Part II All I Want for Christmas An All Dogs Christmas Carol Timmy's Gift: A Precious Moments Christmas Blue Toes the Christmas Elf Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus Christmas Every Day Santa and Pete 3 Days Mr. St. Nick Christmas in Boston A Holiday to Remember To Grandmother's House We Go A Mom for Christmas OK...that's it again for now. I hope these are a little better than those of mine that were stretches and probably shouldn't have been included the first time around. But tell James "Robby the Reindeer" was #52 on my first list. Sorry. As I was reviewing each of the lists that have been submitted so far, a harsh truth hit me. Out of the 150 - 200 movies that have been listed, less than probably a dozen of them have anything at all to do with the actual story of Christmas. How sad!!! And to close, this is for James... "What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs Rolls over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack and fits on your back? It's Log, Log, Log! It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood. It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good! Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log! Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log!"

Joey, Sorry we are just now checking the forum, we've been busy watching movies you listed!! The real question is have YOU watched these movies??? Our old age and eyes must have missed the Robby the reindeer dup. Now confess, you have been searching the web to find these movies and what you didn't find you made up the titles :) Honestly, we both had a good laugh picturing you and all the ladies in your house sitting around watching My Little Pony Christmas!! Joey, we agree that you need to re-watch NARNIA!!! The Christmas old man even gives GIFTS!!!! You're right that it is sad how secular most of the movies are. James said you still didn't answer if you still have the log?? Although it is scary that you knew all the words to the song. Now, since Erica and Jeanne haven't yet chosen a challenge, maybe you can come up with something. YOU ARE THE OFFICIAL DECEMBER WINNER, EVEN JAMES ADMITS DEFEAT ! YOU ARE THE CHRISTMAS MOVIE CHAMPION OF ALL TIMES!!!! THANKS FOR THE FUN AND LAUGHS...LET'S SEE WHAT IS NEXT!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all! I appreciate this honor. Really. Thank you very much! I will say that no I have not seen all of the movies I listed, especially 'Bad Santa' (definitely wanted to clear that one up), but the post said just to name as many as we could. However, I would say I have seen at least 75% of them along with most of the ones on everyone else's list. What can I say, I love Christmas movies and shows! The rest of my list is made up of movies I had heard of in the past or which I heard of as I was channel surfing over the most recent holiday which is where the My Little Pony one came from. And I must admit I did search the web, BUT only AFTER my last submission was complete. And I found that we didn't even scratch the surface of how many Christmas movies exist especially when you factor in the Christmas episodes of TV shows. Everybody and his brother has made a Christmas movie or show. I think even Saddam Hussein had one. OK, maybe not. And as for 'Narnia', don't get me wrong, I am not saying it shouldn't have been included. But that was a cameo by Father Christmas and a very small part of the movie so I thought it was fair to include one like 'Die Hard' where it is Christmas Eve and there is a Christmas office party going on throughout almost the entire movie. Nothing says Christmas like Bruce Willis thwarting a terrorist plot, right? But I am truly honored to have won this competition especially since I was up against some serious competitors like the Newman family who have quite an extensive library of Christmas flicks at home. By the way, did you like your copy of 'Borrowed Hearts' that you got for Christmas, Tianne? That James is such a sweetie! I'm not letting Jeanne get out of her responsibility to start the next post topic, especially after the crack she took at James and me in this one and since I have already submitted two topics that weren't nearly as well received as the ones that others have started. So it's all yours Jeanne!!!
