this weekends shows :)
I will be at both sat and Sun shows - blowing my head off as always !!  I wonder how many people will turn up, since they got the front cover of Drum Media and even got gig of the week in there as well I think it could even sell out the gaelic club ... and anyone who has been to the gaelic club before - what is the security like there ? Metal detectors or anything like that ? thinking of getting a little minidisc in to record if possible I just recorded Jebediah at the Metro last saturday and its sounds pretty good - hope I can get both Merc gigs if possible ..

I'm going to Newcastle, Gaelic & Penrith. I was supposed to be going to Wollongong tonight, but well, had a bit of a tiff with my friend and so we're not speaking.  Nah Gaelic Club is cool, no metal detectors, though I would've recommended that you don't go mentioning your activities Billy. Just coz technically it's still illegal and if the band find out you've been recording (& selling) the recordings, they can take legal action. Plus it's not really kosher to be doing it without asking permission first. I've recorded some gigs with permission, and it's great to be able to leave the MD at the sound desk, you get the best sound from there! But yeah, anywhoo, hope to possibly catch you at the gig. I'll be down the front with Babs going absolutely crazy.

I did email info@thirstymerc.com and got a reply, 'no recordings at this time', I am sure that has something to do with the fact they are now signed with warnerscrap now, I am sure it would have been fine before that ... and I will probably see YOU there but u won't see me I will be incognito at Gaelic and Panthers hahaC U

Oooooh how mysterious of you! Well finding me won't be hard at all, just look for the girl running around with lights flashing in her hair, copious amounts of rings on her fingers and assorted other jewels. Yeah the recording thing is a bit of a bum. Ah well. So long as nobody knows......
