3 Weeks in Southern California
Hey All, I'm out here in Southern California (Aliso Viejo, near Laguna Beach and Irvine, about an hour south of LA) for the next three weeks (I fly back on June 11th), so I thought I'd see if anyone around here would want to get together for an outing or just to meet a fellow artifact hunter for some rock talk and whatnot. I see there's a decent chance of rain for this Friday and Saturday so let me know if you might want head out hunting if we get some good rains in this area. Thanks, Jacob PS: Any tips artifact wise or other for things to do around here would be most welcome! any recommended places to see, eat, etc., any outdoors stuff to do, parks, etc. And for your viewing pleasure, a favorite “old-time” (pre-digital) insitu for you all!

Jacob, I went out there to Laguna Beach a few years ago. The ocean water is too cold to swim/surf right now but a boat ride to Catalina Island is alot of fun. I think the boat ports at Dana Point just south of Laguna Beach. Also, you might check out an Anaheim Angels game. It's closer to you than where the L.A. Dodgers play (unless the angels have moved). I wish I knew something about points in that area. Hope this helps. Thanks for the insitu-pic. |

hey man, check out RG ARTIFACTS on arrowheads .com, he's not too far from where yer at, i've spoke to him on the phone b4 and he's a laidback dude, he mite can give u sum pointers or a heads up on sum things to do r places to scavage! |
