You may remember that Looie drove a baby blue Impala convertible back in the good old days. When he came to celebrate my 15th bithday, he parked his car where no one could see it. When it came time to pass out the gifts, he went outside and drove the car around to the front of the house. There was a HUGE stuffed lion in the back seat - so huge he had to have the top down! I named that lion "LOOIE THE 15th!
On my sixteenth birthday, he walked out on the front porch as I opened my gift. The first BEATLES album to hit the nation! I learned later that he walked out of the house because my folks said to him, "Don't you dare buy her a BEATLES album!"
He sure knew how to spoil me! |
