Tisha B'Av (9th of Av)
I recently met a 'hebrew israelite' who did not know what tisha b'av is. Therefore, I decided to make a post regarding it. Basically it is a holiday similar to yom kippur except it commemorates the destruction of the temple in israel. The temple was destroyed 2 times, and on both occasions it was destroyed on tisha b'av (the 9th of av). I have pasted a website that gives a brief explanation of the day. Any google search will give a more complete/thorough explanation of the day. The person also stated that he has never heard of a sephardic jew. He did not know about it because he does not celebrate holidays. Read your words Keter. The most great never gave us the day to celebrate. Do you try to remember every fight you loss. An army should; so they can win the next time. Plus, the last time I checked, they did not let us bring history books with us during slavery. The power of the internet is great. Some day we will know the same things that you know, then you wont have a chance to seem to know everything. I know something that you don't know! Good. |

To Keter: I sound kind of rough on the above, almost like a crybaby. I guess my words should have come out a lot more respectable. Sorry about that. somebody change my pamper.
