Arts Club Bash
Good to see Mr J going down a treat with the young student crowd on Tues night. Good attendance from the Jeays crew too. Would like to think a return gig here could be in the offing with Stella at a very reasonable £2.90 a pint I sure hope so! Excellent venue with clear acoustics. Still think Mr J would go down a storm at The Greys pub in Southover St. They do live gigs on Sun and Mons each week. Capacity circa 75 and a knowledgable crowd too. I,ve already seen Jackie Leven, Michael Weston King,Andy White there on numerous occasions and its a cracking boozer! |

Younger than student many of them - I believe there was a large contingent from Chatham Comprehensive of all places. It was, indeed, very gratifying to see Mr J getting (almost) the reception he deserves from the kids - and without even having to play Deathbed :). When did £2.90 become a reasonable price for a pint, though? I've been off drink too long... |
