Hi
Sorry but we dont know where your house is.We have been lucky in Tweedbank that there has only been a few RTA,s involving pedestrians however we should not be complacent and if safety measures such as barriers are availiable lets have them.We should also consider "traffic islands" at strategic crossing points. This would give safer crossing points for us all.It may also stop people coming through the village if B& Q should locate in Tweedbank.Well done to Davie Parker on his newsletter. You have my vote.

Hi, I was a little confused as to what a 'pedestrian barrier' is. It mentioned in the newsletter that they were thinking of installing them around Tweedbank, and in the lane next to my house. Anyone know?
