Photo Album upload problems
I am having problems uploading pics to my photo album. They are jpg's, but it still comes up invalid file type. I have tried to upload the origional images from the camera after my scalled down images didn't load. No luck? I had no problems when I set the album up origionally and put in the 1st 3 images. Now, no luck. What should I try next???

Bravenet does check that the actual file type matches that implied by the extension on the file name. The problem may be with the software you are using for resizing. Also make sure your camera is working in jpg format and not raw format. (Read the camera manual if you don't understand that) As a test just double click on one of the files on your PC. Does it open in the Windows picture viewer? |

Yes, shooting in jpeg format. Used photoshop to resize. This is the same thing I did for the other 3 photos. |

Check the file name. Does it have anything other then letters or numbers? Courtnie |

No they don't. The only difference between these pics and the others already in photo album is that they were take with a different camera. I am stumped. |

I finally figured that in photoshop elements you can save a jpeg, or a jpeg for internet. I re-saved my photos as the jpeg for internet and that finally fixed the problem. Don't know what the differences is, but it works. Good luck!

Glad you got your problem fixed. I did too. My issue lies somewhere within IE. They suggested I use FireFox and my jpg's uploaded fine using that browser. |
