Hi. I'm Looking for information about Cornelius Bastock, supposedly an MP for Sutton anywhere from 1860 to 1900.

"He contested the elections for Sutton in Birmingham, in which he was successful. At the next election time he threw a large party which he called a wedding party, at which liquor was served in such large quantities that many of the electors were unable to vote. The government did not approve of this action and he was thrown out of Parliament for ungentlemanly behaviour." A Family Story.
