Jason Marquis is also in danger here, Sheri:

ERA: 3.67
FIP: 4.84

= 1.17 difference, the most among qualified pitchers.

Additionally:

April ERA: 2.35
May: 3.38
June: 5.09
July: 5.40

Re: Mark Redman Award Candidates

Thing is, Looper has peripheral stats in line with his ERA and Hudson has peripheral stats better than his ERA, so I don't think either one will make it. Looper has a better chance of landing on the DL with his unusual workload & the Cardinals probably grabbing a pitcher at the deadline.

If someone - no names to name, but rhymes with Snather and Sneeth - had listen to the players and coaches on the Braves instead of looking at the stats, they would have known Hudson was fully back this year.

Put that in your Hank Aaron and smoke it.

If Wes had read my post, he'd have realized that me and my stats did a fine job of predicting what Hudson would do in the second half.
