Re: Bonehead!
Wow, nothing like a jackass with a keyboard to ruin my afternoon. There are so many points in that article that I'd like to attack, but I think that it'd be a waste of time to do it here. The main thing that bothered me is that he talks about his ascent on the all-time K list (passing and approaching various HOFers, BTW) and then uses that to blast his "meager" HR total. Are Tom and I the only people in the freaking world that remember the Astrodome???? It was arguably one of the most pitcher-friendly parks ever (even Jose Lima put up Cy Young type numbers there) and where Biggio not only spent the large majority of his career, but more importantly, ALL of his prime. Did this "writer" even mention defense? GRRR.

Re: Bonehead!
Dear Jackass,
It's a real shame that someone hired you to write for such a big website. Your recent article on Biggio shows that you have no buisness writing.
First off, comparing Biggio's batting average to Aubrey Huff is ludacris. Biggio has played 20 seasons while Huff has played 8. Biggio has plays second base. Name 5 second baseman with a batting average above .280, hit 285 or more HR and hit over 650 doubles. Also, Mark Grudzielanek has played 13 seasons compare to Biggio's 20, and never had the power he once had.
Let's see, what I else can I pick out..... Oh yeah, since when do BA tell the whole story? Biggio has had an OBP over .375 9 times, and slugged over .450 9 times as well. Did I forget to mention he plays such a defensive position? No, actually I didn't. I can go on and on. Please send me feedback, I'd love to hear your rebutal.
"Doyel's an idiot, but you knew that. That's why you're here, right? To find out, "Who is this idiot?"
At least you know you're an idiot.
I feel better.

"comparing Biggio's batting average to Aubrey Huff is ludacris"
Comparing Biggio's batting average to Aubrey Huff is a washed up rap star? Interesting metaphor.

Re: Bonehead!
Seriously, though, guys, I'm finally convinced that Barry Bonds isn't a Hall of Famer. Forget the steroids and the HGH and the clear and the cream. He has the same number of 60-homer seasons as Roger Maris, and Maris hasn't been inducted. Case closed.

I was commenting on your spelling.
Rap has been dead to me since the mid-90's.

Tony, it is ludacris that you are still using the incorrect form of "you're".
