AIRPORT PASSENGER TRAFFIC
>>May's passenger count at Southwest Florida International Airport (www.flylcpa.com) totaled roughly 575,000, a 4.6 percent decline from May 2007. Year to date, passenger traffic is down nearly 4.4 percent over the same period last year. The traffic leader in May was Delta, with 80,114 passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Air Tran (69,961), Southwest (69,689), US Airways (63,06 and Continental (56,493).
