I am considering buying a unit and was wondering if you have ever had trouble renting it out when you were not able to use it. We are condsidering buying one of the weeks in July.

yes renting out is not a sure thing

With our listings on www.casaybel.com at $35 for a year's listing they get rented by owners directly without the 35% rental fees charged from office.

I have been using this website for many many years to list my weeks (4) for rental. My success rate is probably about 75-80% in getting them rented. It sometimes depends on the economy and of course the storms. If my week does not get rented, I dump it in to exchange for another place the next year. I get inquiries from across the US, Canada and Europe.
