When a 81 year old collector tells you she has never seen anything like it in all her years, there is something to it.
Look for yourself on www.news-press.com/green
photos and all, very interesting article for shell collectors and beach lovers.

What else would you say about Sanibel?
I do not know how long that page will stay on the web
go to it.
Re: Fighting Conch Invasion on Barefoot Beach (South East of Sanibel Island)
I am getting really ****** off with people putting entries on this forum using false nom-de-plumes, and no email addresses, as the entries on this page shows. They are taking the mick, which is not what this forum is for.
I have asked numerous times for the webmaster to prevent and remove entries from people who are clearly using false names and do not have a valid email address.
Unless this is done, I am not going to bother looking at or participating on this site any more!!!
