Property Condition

Just finished up a week of vacation at the resort. If you don't walk away fully impressed with the condition and maintenance staff, then you are just looking for an argument. Thistle Lodge has added Bermuda grass behind their building together with new landscaping that looks terrific. I wish the entire resort had Bermuda, but the maintenance cost would be too high. The boulders and landscaping between Building H and Thistle looked well maintained, but if trespassing is your game, then there is a path which you can follow. The couches are ridiculous, but very comfortable and well constructed. I doubt they will wear out anytime soon. The beaches look great. I saw a manatee, sharks, and plenty of dolphins. Unfortunately, Sanibel is positioned to the south so there was no sunset, but, there ever been one. A security guard was posted in a golf cart, which should quiet some of you. Finally, there was a speed trap every day on Casa Ybel Drive, so take it easy coming and going.

Re: Property Condition

I was just thinking that with our unemployment high as it is in Florida, we should be able to keep our maintenance at high levels these days, our annual fees higher than ever should provide us with the finest maintenance when everybody needed work. My yard maintenance at our house in Ft Myers has dropped from $130 to $85 a month, and we are both happy, every one is looking for savings and a job these days.

Happy to hear we now have re-established our old path between Thistle Lodge and Building H. If just one rock had been moved we would have regained our old path.
We are going back to H in July and will try it out.

Enjoyed lunch some weeks ago at Coconut Bar at the
pool, and happy to see the new Bermuda grass now is serving us in another function. Not just weddings but a Baseball Field. Some granddad's made a Diamond and had assembled some grand kids for an exiting game, with plenty of attention by the many bathers.

Must have been from Minnesota, t'was before the last weekend for the Twin's in training in Ft Myers this spring.
