Re: Condo inventory

As stimulating as this digressional dialogue is, I do have comments apropos the original topic of this thread. When arriving, check the inventory in your unit against the inventory list, and do a quick functional check (disposer, door locks, etc.). If there are any shortages, contact Housekeeping; if there are any functional issues, contact Maintenance (or the front desk). Over the years, we have experienced many cases of items that were missing (e.g. utensils), as well as things broken, such as the porch door lock not working). Both the Housekeeping and Maintenance crews are very good at correcting issues, but they need to know about them.

It’s best to catch these things right away, rather than when you absolutely need that blender or sauté pan. Also, keep up with the needed repairs as the week progresses. The only (or, at least, major) reason there are shortage and functional issues when you arrive is because your predecessors did not report them. It might sound sappy, but we should strive to leave the unit in better shape than we found it.

Re: Condo inventory

Jones,
Thanks for your reply to my post; it helped with my packing. I am also packing my "waffle maker" because we love waffles in the AM (after hunting for shells)!

Re: Condo inventory

Waffle Maker????? Wow, I bet that's really easy and light to deal with. I like rotisserie chicken, but never thought about bringing my Showtime grill with me. I hope she made enough for everyone!!!

Re: Condo inventory

There is a reasonable chance that a waffle maker might be available if requested. Try checking before bringing one the next time.
