I am investigating the crash of this airman. Would like to know where his aircraft crashed? I found in the Fighter Command Book that it was near Eindhoven Holland however would like to have the exact location.

Hope the following is of help.

Pinny was hit by flak in Spit. IX, NH148, on Ramrod 1448, escorting 160 Lancasters to Mönchengladbach, Germany. He attempted to crash-land near Eersel, 35km SW of Eindhoven, but was killed, 1 February 1945.
