Spitfire aircraft

I am trying to trace and create a logbook of every Spitfire/Seafire/Spitful and Seafang ever buildt.

Any info on aircraft, squadrons markings (not just 41 squdron), pilots of certain aircraft, missions, services test fligts etc or even copies of photo's will be greatly appreciated. I am doing this for my own personal interest and not to publish a book. I have managed to find information on abount 2000 aircraft. Should anyone want info that I have, I will gladly pass it on.

Re: Spitfire aircraft

Hi Mike

Have you seen Morgan and Shacklady's "Spitfire; The History"? It has a listing of all the aircraft built, and should provide you with all the information you need. Try the Amazon or Abebooks websites for a copy.
