Re: bb goodall

Hello Gareth,

I found your message on "The Pilots of 41 Squadron RAF" web-site.
I was out walking recently and found a plaque to this pilot in a local church, well outside actually, by the boundary hedge at the side of the road. The church was at Weston Patrick, nr Basingstoke.
The plaque reads "In memory of 411981 Sgt B B Goodall RNZAF, age 23, who died when his spitfire crashed to the south of here on the 15/8/1942".
I can send you a couple of pictures of the plaque if you like and a better location if you need it.

Best regards,Frank Sutton.

Dear Gareth,

I am Bernard Goodall's niece, he was my mother's brother. I have written up his life story and would be happy to answer any queries you have. Unfortunately, your email address does not work anymore.

kind regards
