My favorite part is "Congrats to Emil on his back to back 150 hit seasons!"
I wonder how long the guy pondered whether he should congratulate Brown on his 150 hit seasons, back-to-back 75 run seasons, or back-to-back 80 RBI seasons!
Good stuff

I'd like to be the first to congratulate Jose Castillo on back-to-back double-digit homer seasons!

You almost have to think the guy is being sarcastic.
And yet, it is clear that he isn't, isn't it?

Gload has never been a good fielder, which is part of why the Emil/Ross comparison is so apt, I believe.

I love the fact that even if Brown spent his entire career on the 2000 rockies, his career average would still just be .300

Since the 2000 Rockies had a team average of .294, that's not exactly insult.

Re: Emil Brown on Baseball-Reference.com
It is hilarious to see the words "Emil Brown may be the single most underrated, under appreciated, player in baseball today" on the same page as Brown's .200/.257/.272 and 38 OPS+.
He has stolen five bases in five attempts, though, so Keith probably thinks he is invaluable on the base paths.

And he has 16 RBI from just 1 home run, so Asher probably thinks he's clutch.
I've always wanted to write an article detailing all of the weird personal problems and bahaviors of Pirates players. If I added ex-Pirates to the article, it could really go on a lond time.
