Hall of Shame

After reading this article, I have lost any respect I had (not that I really ever did) for the HOF voters or anything related to the HOF.

Re: Hall of Shame

I didn't know that Joe Rudi won three Gold Gloves.

Re: Hall of Shame

In his defense, there are worst players than the ones he chose already in.

Still, a horrendous batch.

Re: Hall of Shame

It wasn't exactly the players, it was his reasons.

All-Star Game MVP???????????????

This can't be serious...

Re: Hall of Shame

Dear Woody,

Please vote for Jerome Williams as soon as he is Hall of Fame eligible. He was my first ever player interview, and he was a very nice guy to talk to. He's a guy I like, and is therefore deserving of enshrinement.

Re: Hall of Shame

Does anyone here realize Woody Paige just said he'd vote for Dale Murphy because he played 26 games for the Rockies, and for Don Mattingly because they are friends?

This is bad. This is really really bad.

I used to think it was shocking that baseball writers are so often wrong on fundamental issues. Now I am beginning to think that it is shocking that the writers are right as often as they are.

Re: Hall of Shame

I'm surprised you guys don't like the dufus since he voted for Raines.

Re: Hall of Shame

Even a stopped watch is right twice a day.

Re: Hall of Shame

a) Rich, when Paige said he was voting for Raines, it made me question myself for supporting him so much.

b) Keith - well played.

Re: Hall of Shame

I didn't get the watch joke at first. I was thinking of stop watch. A broken clock sounds better.

Re: Hall of Shame

Good point. Tell Jim Davis, 'cause I totally ripped him off on that joke.
