Hello John, thanks for ranting in. Why don't *you* write that asterisking book? We'd be fascinated to learn how Gary Bettman is leading the Christian Right to conquer Canada. Something to do with his labor lock-out and lumber embargo stifling hockey-stick production up there, we suspect. Anyway, you really will have to write it yourself. Klein and Reif *already* wrote one on how the corporate American mindset was ruining the game. That was seven years ago and it was called "The Death of Hockey." Perhaps you've heard of it somewhere. The rest of us here are too busy fighting fascism in our own little ways. If you're doubtful of where our hearts lie, check out the non-hockey sites in our Links directory. Hockey hockey hockey !!! If you think that this game is ever going to be big in the U.S,A. forget it. This latest lockout is just another way for the U.S. to get what they want, our natural resources and our population, our people, our Nation. We have become a thorn in their side for some years now but they are applying pressure to get what they want. Don't ever kid yourself the U.S. is trying to break our spirit and our country. They can't invade us but they sure do bombard us with their moral religious right wing bull**** every day. The lockout, lead by an American,Gary, the beef embargo, lumber embargo, ect. is going to break us sooner or latter. We will be Americanized at any cost. They hate what we are doing , freedom of rights, gay marriage,legalizing pot, ect. The U.S. is trying to break us boys and girls and we better wake up soon or we could wake up someday with the stars and banners instead of the Mapleleaf. Call me paranoid or whatever , but just look at the facts, canadian dollar maybe par soon, north american missle defence system proposed, water resources proposal made. Hockey lockout is just one more example of what is really happening . The Yanks are toying with our National Game, their mad at us and we are going to pay the price. Write a ******* book on that , If you have the guts!!!
