So as a vegetarian, I often enjoy meat substitutes. When I look at the ingredients on the package, I just have to question: Is tofu necessarily a good alternative? Tofu meat substitutes often contain carcinogenic artificial colors and flavors.It is also highly processed, research shows it can affect our hormones, possibly cause breast cancer and now even alztimers. Why is this such a great substitute? It does not seem healthy to me, and it is not a whole food.....
