Re: What's your list for New Leaf Bulk items?

IT WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD USE OUR OWN CONTAINERS FOR THE FOLLOWING BULK ITEMS:
Distilled Vinegar
Hydrogen peroxide
Extra virgin organic olive oil
Avocado oil - cold pressed, refrigerated
Flax seed oil - cold press, refrigerated
Agave Nectar
Stevia
Sprouted organic breads
Sprouted tofu and soy milk
Organic Temphe
Organic Miso
Braggs soy sauce
Dried no spray or organic blueberries - no sugar
Raw organic almonds (preferably refrigerated)
Seasame Seed butter
Dry beans - pinto, black, garbanzo
Low glutton grains for baking and cooking
Fresh fruits and veggies - any or all seasonal or overstock?
Sustainably raised shrimp
Organic cheeses - cheddar, manchego, motz. , and parm. Or regi.
Organic yogurt – plain
Organic Butter
Dr. Bronner's liquid soap (almond and peppermint)
Bar Soaps - with no packaging, vegi., olive or milk
coconut oil or butter for beauty lotions

Re: What's your list for New Leaf Bulk items?

Krystyn's items:
I see many other things on your list that I would like as well....that I just had not thought of. Also, I am pretty sure New Leaf now has several things on your list. They have the Dr. Bronners for sure. Good idea to ask for the overstock fruit and vegies or culls in bulk...we can see what they say.

Re: What's your list for New Leaf Bulk items?

How about some dried chick peas for making hummus.

Re: What's your list for New Leaf Bulk items?

I see many items already on Krystyn and Melinda's list that i'd piggy back (olive oil, agave nectar, soy milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, Dr. Bronner's etc.) and would add:
Organic whole milk
granola
tortilla chips
jar spagetti sauce (flex on brand)
rice crackers
cream cheese
peanut butter

wonder if eventually it might be most helpful to produce a spread sheet of items, with cross columns for name and quantity requested per month. I'd probably add more to my list from others'....

glad this might work!

What's your list for New Leaf Bulk items?

In addition to what has already been posted...
(Organic unless noted)

Dried cranberries
Raisins
Walnuts
Pumpkin Seeds
Barley
Brown Rice
Large Cans of whole, diced or crushed Fire Roasted Tomatoes
Olives
Rice Milk
Paul Newman's Popcorn
Paul Newman's Spelt Pretzels
Almond Butter
Toilet tissue
Like Karen, I think we should put this on a spread sheet along with the names of the participants. We would then check the items we are interested in, offering quantities as well and see where we have the most overlap. I would guess that New Leaf would be more receptive to a short list that truly was a large "bulk' order, than a long list that might not make it cost effective for them to offer any discount. As the program evolves, we could expand the list. Just my thoughts, but I'm in for whatever the group decides.
