Fifteen years ago today tragedy struck London. Three underground tube were attacked and one London double decker bus killing 57 ppl and injuring 784.
At the time, I were working for British Telecom, when the news come through to office of the tragic news. It were first day back after 5 days off after going to see Wet Wet Wet in Liverpool part of a summer weekend in 2005.
I ended staying behind after going on shift at 7am I ended up working to 22:00 hours because our call volumes had increased as an emergency number had to be set up for emergency for loved ones if the victims to call. Shivers just ran down my spine hearing the news it were just so tragic.
I got through that shift, but could not stop thinking about all those ppl.
I thought to myself, I will never step foot on an tube again. But in late 2006 I did, when I went to a pop concert with my sister and kids at Wembley.
