Good Afternoon

I have not been on my forum since Thursday. Only logged on for the gallery update yesterday only...

I will write all this all to best to my of knowledge. Liverpool is heading for Tier 3 restrictions but possibly Tier 2, all depends what the government announces. It has been said they will not allowed to leave their region and possible in place for 6 months , but we will see what the government imposes....

I will put up the figures tomorrow on my Twitter page @Mantego23 , the figures has come down a bit and death toll slightly down. Most of these figures are coming up from up North.....

Cineworld closed their doors temporarily on Thursday......

Tighten lockdown for millions as northern England revolt deepens.....

Ahead of the unveiling of a new 3-tier system for local covid restrictions on Monday.......

The new system, which has sparked anger from leaders, and councils in the north of England, is expected to lead to millions being banned from mixing indoors and outdoors and thousands of pubs being forced to close......Ppl do need to listen after closure it has been seen that ppl are hanging around outside pubs and in streets boozing......

Liverpool to go into top-level lockdown.

Liverpool is headed for a Tier 3 lockdown - the most severe level under the government’s new system - and could stay there for 6 months, according to reports.

Pubs, gyms, casinos and betting shops will be closed but restaurants will stay open, it is claimed.......

The new rules are expected to affect the whole of the Liverpool City Region, which includes Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton and St Helens......

Nottingham tops case rates in England.....

Nottingham still has the highest rate of new confirmed cases of covid in England.....

With 2,763 new cases recorded in the 7 days to October 8th, it amounts to 830 cases per 100,000 ppl - up from 314.5 the previous week......

Other areas recording big jumps in their 7-day rates include West Lancashire (up from 217.8 to 398.1, with 455 new cases); Exeter (up from 229.8 to 380.5, with 500 new cases); Blackburn with Darwen (up from 208.4 to 355.4, with 532 new cases); and Broxtowe (up from 115.8 to 265.7, with 303 new cases)........

The list of the top 10 areas for case rates, has shown below been calculated by the PA news agency and is based on Public Health England data published today........

Nottingham 830.0 cases per 100,000 people (2763 new cases), up from 314.5 (1047) last week
Knowsley 669.5 (1010), up from 485.9 (733)
Liverpool 598.5 (2981), up from 504.4 (2512)
Newcastle upon Tyne 509.5 (1543), up from 420.1 (1272)
Burnley 503.8 (448), up from 445.3 (396)
Manchester 477.7 (2641), up from 530.5 (2933)
Sheffield 439.3 (2569), up from 263.0 (1538)
Sefton 418.6 (1157), up from 314.7 (870)
West Lancashire 398.1 (455), up from 217.8 (249)
St Helens 387.6 (700), up from 323.4 (584)

Covid hospital patients by region in England.....

Heres a breakdown of the number of Covid-19 patients in hospital and those on ventilators in each region of England, as of today (previous weeks figure in brackets).......

East of England - 137 in hospital (94 a week ago), 16 on ventilators (14 a week ago).....

London - 338 (272), 57 (50)

Midlands - 576 (417), 81 (62)

North East & Yorkshire - 914 (572), 99 (78)

North West - 1,218 (816), 132 (95)

South East - 174 (104), 8 (8)

South West - 94 (54), 8 (3)

The above figures are all taken from the governments Covid dashboard......

Nearly 3,500 covid patients in hospital in England......

In a sign of how the UKs epidemic has grown in recent days, government figures have shown there are 3,451 Covid-19 patients in hospital in England, as of Sunday, up from 2,329 a week ago......

Meanwhile, there are 401 Covid-19 patients in ventilation beds, up from 310 a week ago......

A total of 544 patients with confirmed Covid-19 were admitted to hospitals in England on Friday, compared with 371 a week earlier......

I know it sounds very confusing, but I am only writing up to what I know and what as pro-founded to be accurate to the best of my knowledge..... As I know ppl in the medical sector, plus listening to updated information..... It is a lot to take in to what as been mentioned, but I do log information, so I get it correct before publishing it here on my forum....

UK study to test if BCG vaccine can protect against Covid-19........

A vaccine which is usually given to children for tuberculosis could help protect adults against covid infection, researchers have been looking into this.......

Researchers at the University of Exeter will lead trials to see if the Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine, can protect against Covid-19 in a move which could help ppl fight off the virus until a more effective vaccine is discovered.......Lets hope that will be a solution......

Thank u for reading! I feel sorry for those further north, I have 2 friends up north Merseyside.... All as I can say stay safe.... They say possibilities of 6 months but it could be less.... I say listen out for the announcement from the Government tomorrow......Follow rules this could reduce figures and save lives.......
