Good Evening All,

I will write this to the best of my knowledge, it is all accurate .....The figures are in it has gone steeply and sharply, most of these figures are from up north..... Deaths are up sharply too..... I will post the figures onto my Twitter page @Mantego23 tomorrow, look out for the figures......

Greater Manchester placed in Tier 3.......

The latest breaking covid news and updates including deaths in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus UK lockdown changes, shielding guidance and daily deaths confirmation.......

It came after it was announced that Greater Manchester, will be placed into the highest tier of restrictions, despite talks with local leaders breaking down........

The Government would be imposing the restrictions on the area, which will include the closure of pubs and bars as well as curbs on travelling and socialising within Greater Manchester.........

Manchester will go to stricter restrictions as of Thursday, and were offered £20million, but the local leader never got what they wanted to save businesses in Manchester.... The government will going into tier 3 as of Thursday - the local leader not agreed to £20 million they were wanting the £65 million - The government is said to be punishing the ppl of Greater Manchester..... The leader of Manchester wanted £90 million the government offered £65 million but no deal were met £20 million got offered - The government can only do £60 million the local leader of Manchester declined it, so the government went ahead with the tier 3 restrictions from Thursday midnight........

Talks on South Yorkshire, restrictions are ongoing the covid alert level for South Yorkshire were continuing.........

South Yorkshires local authorities and the Government have been in extensive, and constructive talks over the covid alert level for the region........

These talks continue as all sides seek to agree a plan which will protect lives, jobs and the NHS.......

Full details will be announced as soon as the restrictions and guidance are confirmed, ppl of South Yorkshire keep an eye out for the news......

More restrictions may be needed in Nottinghamshire.....

Raised concerns about rising rates in the county, the number of cases in Nottingham, and increasingly across Nottinghamshire are worrying.......

Nottinghamshire went into level 2 last week and talks are ongoing about what more might be needed........And they praise the ppl of Nottinghamshire for what they are doing to try to slow the spread of this virus........

We are in Milton Keynes we are in tier 1, we have followed the government guidelines since day 1 of the pandemic.....We wear our masks in public places stand 2 metres apart, washing hands regularly.....I hardly seen my family, we have stayed in our support bubble......Some of my family members 4 of them 2 adults and 2 were kids had to have a Covid text due to feeling unwell, with one of the adults working in restaurant and bar.... All 4 of them tested negative thank the lord..........

No imminent plans to change North East restrictions......

On the North East of England, there are early signs that cases are starting to flatten but cautioned.... In the first instance that is happening among younger ppl, and they still worried about the number of cases of over-60s, who are the ppl most likely to end up in hospital or worse.........

So they will keep a very close eye on the situation, but we have no imminent plans to make a change........

The Government would seek the support of the area should changes be required......

This is about so much more than Greater Manchester, but ppl will watch tonite and say if a Government is prepared to inflict this level of harm on its ppl in the middle of a pandemic in one part of the country, then they will have to be prepared to do it to ppl in all parts of the country as well, and the result will be a winter of hardship for millions of ppl.......

This is not a game, its about ppls lives, ppl need proper financial support....... This is a national crisis and they will defeat this virus on the cheap.........

The path through a pandemic is never straightforward. It requires all of us to make difficult decisions and tough sacrifices and to get the virus under control........

They know that these local restrictions are hard and they are another sacrifice in a year full of sacrifices.......

But they must not waver now, they must persevere as they have worked so hard on the long-term solutions that will see us through and come together once again......

They understand the impact of these measures, but they must take the decisions to save lives, and ultimately livelihoods in Greater Manchester, the government cannot go leave them high and dry, I fo not agree with this at all..... Ppl of Manchester need to follow the guidelines it is plain and simple......

And to everyone in Greater Manchester, throughout these difficult times for your great city they will be by your side, and the best thing all of what they can do now to protect the loved ones, and to get back to normal as fast as possible is for everyone to come together, to follow these new rules and for all to play their part in tackling this deadly virus..... In a way I totally agree with that .....

West Yorkshire to remain in Tier 2.......

A decision had been made to maintain Tier 2 restrictions in the county.......

Local and national public health experts agree that there is not a case to move West Yorkshire to Tier 3 this week...... Not yet anyway......

Essex is in Tier 2 now Milton Keynes is Tier 1...We are allowed to mix with other households maximum 6ppl indoors and outdoors setting..... We only resumed to our session last month on maximum of 6ppl on social distancing.......

The decision to maintain Tier 2 (high risk) for West Yorkshire restrictions reflects the progress that has been made by councils, Public Health England, the NHS and other partners working together to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and protect lives....Sorry if I am rambling on, I am just making my visitors to my site aware of any updates and to what I heard to best of my knowledge.....

The leaders urged the Government to respond to and support their economic proposals, and said it is essential that the public follow the rules to avoid increased restrictions becoming necessary..... But public are ignoring is plain ignorance and mindless ppl who have no care for anyone else and think covid is a joke.....

Northern Ireland started their 4 week circuit breaker last Friday - Republic of Ireland goes into stricter restrictions from tomorrow (Wednesday), Manchester tier 3 restrictions will begin midnight as of Thursday where pubs who do not serve food casinos bingo halls betting shops.....Our Carla is found to Dublin end of next week....

Everyone is disappointed that this lockdown has been imposed, and I do not believe the science supports this action. I think the health and economic impact will be damaging to the community, but they have to do all they can do to respect these rules since they have been imposed, there I to honestly agree here.......

This evening, I can announce that Greater Manchester will move to the very high alert level, and this information is accurate......

That means that pubs and bars must close unless they are serving substantial meals... and they strongly advise against travel into and out of the area of Manchester.......

Greater Manchester would receive £22 million in funding as part of a comprehensive package of support......

On the negotiations that broke down with leaders in the region......Over the last 10 days the government tried to get an approach with local leaders in Greater Manchester. Unfortunately an agreement was not reached and they do regret this........

As said last week, it would have been better and they would have a better chance of defeating the virus if they work together.....

The Government made a generous and extensive offer to support Manchester businesses, but the mayor did not accept this, unfortunately and given the public health situation. The government must now proceed with moving Greater Manchester to the very high alert level........

Greater Manchester to move to Tier 3......

The government has confirmed Greater Manchester will move to the very high covid alert level.......

'I don't think it is right to ask ppl to go into a lockdown without supporting them..... The government needs to support them....

How can they carry the public with us through this pandemic, if they are forcing them to lose their income, their place of work, without supporting them through that? Come on government be fair and help these poor ppl who will suffer leading up to Christmas, plus their lively hoods..... The government needs to give more than £20 million plus - There is roughly 2.2 million will get effected.....

This is how it stands......

34 more deaths in North East and Yorkshire
The number of deaths of England hospital patients with Covid-19 by region are as follows:

East of England - 7

London - 7

Midlands - 17

North East & Yorkshire - 34

North West - 57

South East - 3

South West - 9

Very disappointed that despite recognising the gravity of the situation, the mayor has been unwilling to take the action that is required to get the spread of the virus under control in Greater Manchester, and reach an agreement with the government.......

Therefore that these discussions have concluded without an agreement with the government....So Greater Manchester will go into tier 3 restrictions from midnight Thursday........

Thanks for reading! All stay safe particularly in the North.......
