The figures are in and they are down from yesterday.... Here are Fridays figures 20,530 and yesterday figures (Saturday) 23,012......Deaths over the past 2 days, Friday 224 yesterday (Saturday) 174........

14-day quarantine for Covid contacts could be reduced........
The latest breaking covid news and updates including deaths in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus UK lockdown changes, shielding guidance and daily deaths confirmation.....
The 2 week quarantine period for contacts of those who test positive for Covid-19, could be cut, amid criticism of Test and Trace........
Confirmed officials were looking at reducing the time ppl contacted by the Test and Trace system, would be required to quarantine at home from 14 days to between 10 days and a week......
Government sources acknowledged the move reflected concerns ppl were failing to respond, when they were contacted by the system because of fears they could face a lengthy period of self-isolation.....
It comes as the Government is resisting pressure to sack the head of NHS Test and Trace, Baroness Harding, amid deepening concern among ministers and MPs that the system is failing to stem the spread of covid.......
County Durham youths caught flouting rules....
More than 20 youths were found flouting covid rules......
Last nite after reports, of more than 20 youths congregating in the Centre......
Some of the group were drinking alcohol, discarding glass bottles, and rubbish around Glenholme Park.......
A number of youths were taken home by police, and their parents were spoken too.....
It comes after officers talked to a large group of young ppl gathered in the Market Place on Friday nite..... I cannot understand why these ppl go wild for what?

Wedding organisers hit with £10,000 fine
Police have slapped the organiser of a London wedding with a £10,000 fine, after officers discovered more than 60 guests as a venue in the City of London.......Why ppl not listening, it is like to the brick wall...
Officers broke up the gathering of over 60 ppl at a venue in Threadneedle Street the City yesterday......
This is 4 times the current guest limit on wedding parties under covid rules........
A member of the public tipped off the police, who dispersed the celebrations.........
The organiser was issued with a £10,000 fine, in line with legislation......That will teach them a lesson for allowing this to happen...
Under Tier 2 restrictions weddings can only take place in Covid-19 secure venues - restricted to 15 ppl......
Doctors warn tiering system, will have no impact....
The Governments tiering system will have no
impact on efforts, to contain the spread of covid with more than a third of doctors doubting its effectiveness........
Some 37 per cent of medics in England said they felt the 3-tier system would be ineffective, while less than half (46 per cent) it is thought it would work to a slight extent, and just 5.95 per cent is a significant extent.......
They have got to have a structure where...ppl have the confidence what they are doing is logical, and lead forward properly......
Then pointing to the fact that Wales, had been on the program earlier refusing to reverse the decision to ban the sale of non-essential items in supermarkets, Wales was a test bed for socialist authority.......
One of the challenges they are seeing in Wales, which has been clearly highlighted that it has become a test bed for left wing socialist authority, coming out with these crazy outcomes, and they have to make sure they do not have that more widely across the country........
Anyone with an overdraft has 1 week to act to get a 3 month payment holiday as soon as possible.......
The pandemic and recession has led to many of the public, falling into their overdrafts, so this news will come as a welcome surprise......
I am advising anyone who needs help with their debt to take action in the next 10 days of reading this on forum, which will allow them 3 months off from making payments.....Please take my advice, although I am not affected by this pandemic but some ppl are not as lucky as us......
Contact ur lender, and tell them you want to apply for the payment holiday as soon as possible........
While as a nation were far from out of the pandemics clutches, these schemes are gradually being dismantled. With most, there is little you can do to alter that...... Take my advice on this situation....
U can apply before the October 31st deadline, and get a payment holiday almost automatically on mortgages, overdrafts, credit cards, personal loans, insurance, car finance, buy-now-pay-later, rent-to-own and pawnbroker loans.........
There has been warnings that ur payments will be higher once they begin again in the new year - as interest will have accrued..........
And while it will not go on ur credit history, it may be used in future to help decided whether to extend new credit.......
After October 31st the scheme will change, and will be much more limited - with any payment holidays being registered on your file........
Those working under Tier 3 restrictions in England, are sceptical about their effectiveness, with just under 6 per cent believing they will have a significant impact in containing the virus.......
Meanwhile 37 per cent of medics said the new measures will be ineffective.......
Modelling led to the original lockdown in March, said there are currently 8,000 ppl in hospital across the UK with Covid – around a third of the peak earlier this year – and that numbers were continuing to rise....... Ppl really need to take extra care.......
And warned the NHS will be unable to cope if they cannot stop the surge in Covid-19 cases, with infections rising in other age groups apart from 18 to 21-year-olds.........

Alternative plans could see a tougher tier of restriction added, if the current system has not made a difference by mid-November.....The public really need to stop mingling close with each otherwise it will head in that direction....Please stop socialising and keep it limited......
Whitehall officials and local authorities are reportedly mulling over alternative plans to Englands current 3 -tier system.......
To what I know, that a potential plan B could include a Tier 3-plus or Tier 4, with measures more like those we experienced during full lockdown........
While nothing has been officially been announced as yet, and the measures still reportedly just under discussion, that they could include shutting restaurants and non-essential retail such as clothes shops.......
The publication that other options being discussed include the possibility of short-term local circuit breaker lockdowns in a bid to bring the R rate down - the rate at which the virus is transmitted - below one.........

Since October 12, England has been operating under a 3 -tier system of local restrictions which divides areas into different categories, labelled as medium, also known as Tier 1, high, also known as Tier 2, or very high risk, which is referred to as Tier 3.
The North East is currently in Tier 2. However, despite infections falling in most of the region, talks are ongoing about it being placed in Tier 3...... This what I have heard sorry....
In the North East, there are restrictions on household mixing indoors while the rule of 6 continues to apply outdoors.........
Self-isolation period could be cut to 7 days
Contacts of ppl infected with Covid may have to self-isolate for as little as 7 days, amid concerns in Whitehall about the levels of public compliance with the Test and Trace system.........
Officials on the Governments Covid-19 taskforce are understood to be examining the case for reducing the current fortnight period of isolation, to between 10 days and a week.....Look out for further updates on my forum......
Exclusive figures reveal number of Covid-19 rule breakers facing court, can reveal that the majority of ppl caught flouting Covid rules on Tyneside are set to be taken to court.........
Exclusive figures show that at least 165 rule-breakers, fined by Northumbria Police, have been referred to court for non-payment..... This is what as been said and it is fully accurate.....
Ppl u all need to follow guidelines to reduce figures.....Because a tier 4 is being looked at but not confirmed yet, a circuit breaker...its goling to get tough especially for those in tier 3 .....If figures do not completely reduce by mid November.....
