Show your Support and Join the Texas ACA to protect Artifact Collectors Rights! Out of staters welco

The Texas ACA along with supporters/members have written up the structure for a bill to get our rights to surface hunt on creeks, lakes, and reservoirs back, and I have been a strong advocate for this bill and all it stands for.

I, along with The Texas Artifact Collectors Association am backing this new bill 100%

I ask that you show your support by both coming to the show on the 27th to sign the petition, as well as by Joining the Texas Artifact Collectors Association (TACA). If you can't make the show then please at least show that you support us be becoming an official TACA member.

Out of staters are welcome---we need all the support/members we can get!

Please show your support and sign up to be a member of the Texas ACA, Membership is currently FREE and you recieve all of the benefits of a full member just for taking a minute of your time to sign up and show that you support us and our mission.

Our website is www.geocitiescom/thetexasaca/org

Here is what we stand for besides promoting legislation (such as this) which seeks to protect us and our hobby, as well as gain back our long lost collecting rights.

Thank you

Mission: To promote and protect the collecting of Authentic Texas Artifacts and all activities there in such as the digging, surface hunting, buying, selling, and trading of Native American Artifacts.

About: TACA is grassroots organization comprised of collectors and patrons of Native American Artifacts and Heritage. It was founded in 2006 by Chase Jennings, an avid artifact collector, for the purpose of uniting Texas artifact collectors in order to protect and promote the preservation and collecting of Native American Artifacts.

Bylaws: We permit the art of knapping so long as these reproductions are sold or traded as such and in no way or form presented as authentic. We condemn the sale or trade of rechipped artifacts, restored artifacts, and all forms of fake (reproduced) artifacts if they are not clearly presented as such with a clear statement of “These are reproductions of artifacts and are in no way, shape, or form authentic or/These are restored artifacts which have been repaired in the following ways…these artifacts are not in the original condition as made and are presented as NOT being 100% authentic”.
We always condemn the sale and/or trade of burial items and human remains in all situations, shapes, and forms.
We promote the responsible hunting, selling, trading, and collecting of Native American Artifacts as well as the full documentation, identification, and preservation of these ancient artifacts. We condemn the robbing of Indian burial sites as well as irresponsible pot-holing and other-wise reckless destruction of still valuable archaeological sites.
