So this is my first post. Been browsing the forums for some time. What do you guys think about this Montell I found in Real County? It's such a nice rootbeer colored flint, I'm thinking about having it restored. When it came out, all I saw was the stem. Given the rarity of finding a Montell with the base intact, I was definitely let down once I saw the gap in the side. Should I have it restored, not restored? FYI... it is approx 2 3/4"

If montells are scarce for you, then by all means restore it. All that really matters is how you feel.
