Visiting Dallas and looking for a weekend activity

I am from Eastern Canada and will be in Dallas for over the next couple of weekends and looking to do some hunting for a point. I have been looking in eastern Canada for seeral years now and would like to check out some of Texas as I will be there. Any suggestions or willing to take me along on a hunt?

Just wondering if you ever found a place to dig.

I live N. of Dallas & have no clue where to go. I normally find artifacts on the surface on my in-laws property near New Braunfels.
