My dad recently passed away and I was left his arrowhead collection. What is the best way to find out information. They are in very good condition and he found them all. I live in the Austin area. Thanks
My sympathy Pam.
A very good book to buy is Overstreets Identification and Price Guide To Indian Arrowheads" by Robert
Overstreet. I believe they are up to edition 10 but early editions can be found on ebay pretty cheap. May not be current with pricing but I am sure you would want it for the identification of the points. Early editions serve just fine. This sight also as well as some yahoo groups (arrowheadcollectors is one) are good resources for Identification. Chase, Glenn and Michelle to name just a few are very helpful on this sight. I don't want to leave anyone out though but there are quite a few knowlegable collectors on this sight. Kinda makes a Yank like me wish I was a Texan.LOL Good Luck with the collection Pam.
