What's everyone think about this? Kind of interesting with the notch at the bottom. Found it at a private dig site near onion creek.

That's one of my biggest complaints here. Michelle has a great board(my favorite) and forum, but many participants are just "lookers", here for looking only. I'm not a pro by any means, but it appears to be a tang of sorts. It appears an ear/tang was broken off the right hand side. Other than that, what a great find.

Eric, Many archaic point types are begun by defining the basal area first. Your's is such an example. A pedernales point in the making. Unfinished for whatever reason. mike

When I see those , I think of a blank.. They knocked off the parts they don't need.. Arn;t going to need.. because why carry the extra if you dont have too!

ANd to make it thinner.. lets just see if I can atleast get the knotch right before I carryt his thing around .. because I am nakked and have to pockets ya know! heheh
