9-30-07 - Todays Digging Finds! Whatta BEAUTY of a morning!!!

Here are todays finds! WHATTA DAY!

Sorry Hal , but I kicked your BUTT !!!!!!!!!

Mine finds are on the left .. Poor Hal's are on the
right. Hal thinks that the reason

that he only found 4 pieces today is he couldn't dig
because he had to keep

getting out of his hole to come see what I found..
Took away from his digging time!

Yes, its been dug many many years ago and on going via hal and I got the past, I quess 4 years..

They came in and took everything off the top, but they didn't go deep enough...

Heck, WE probably arn't going deep enough either!!!!! Heck again.. YOU EITHER!

Its not bottem untill the flint and the snale are gone, and where we have been for years.. there is always flint deeper. Just KILLS me to see a hole and clean out the bottem and find ash....

I am sure, years ago they got some really nice things.. But they probably missed 30% of the hole!!!!!

Feeling alot better...
The little bit of rain kept the cedar and molds down to a dull roar today which was GREAT for me and my lungs!

Gotta get back in that hole Randy.. Don't be like these other people and leave all this behind... Yes, its a pain and yes its alot of soil.. But if there is another level under that sand of yours... well, you don;'t know untill you try!

And yes, deeper than the last people... Like in some places 5 ft deeper .. and we are hand digging only.. You could do the hole with the equiptment that you have and take a look about 4 ft down before you give up on that field!
