Thanks alot for the welcome. I am planning a week trip to Texas and would appreciate any information you could give me on the pay by day areas that you feel would be productive.The pictures on this site are great and can't think of a better vacation. My wife thinks I'm nuts , but you just have to love getting dirty.She does plan to come though and information on the closest towns and accomadations would be very helpful.I've had a great weekend and found a nice celt and a complete bowl coming out of the bank of Murder Creek in Burnt Corn AL.(Got to wonder about these names)It's been a long dry spell between finds though. and looking forward to the trip

Hi Terry, I'm not Michelle's answer but here's a thought...For an artifact adventure in Texas, if you can pick your time....There are artifact SHOWS every month somewhere in TX starting Jan 26 to the show of shows in JUNE in Temple TX. [ 1 1/2 inches on the map from the Crisners pay dig site ] .

You might get more information posting in here and askign the great big pile of diggers in here which ones they would have to goto ! They have more experence that I do at most of those places, I try to stick close to home!
