i have been fishing and swimming at a secluded beach over the years i would find shards and few good points ....finally i decided to go all out and i took about 8 hours and searched the beach ....i made a sifter and took a shovel and WoW ... ifound about 50 beads, 67 perfect points,12 either knifes or long spear points, 6 weird looking things that poeple call drill points, dozens of scrappers, some stone tools and even wonderful perfect hatchet head....and i didnt even cover half of the beach!.....i was wondering if this was legal in idaho and how do you get arrowheads certified of authenticity around here?
thank you,

Well now, half the beach in eight hours.................must have been a short beach and a bionic shovel. The only thing that could make me dig that fast was incoming artillery rounds. In all probability you were breaking any number of Idaho state laws tempered by a host of Fearsome Federal Felony Statutes. I work on a prime site and I would be fortunate to find sixty+ perfect points in a year of intense digging. Send photos if you have some, I would be pleased to see sixty+ perfect anythings.
