Harpoons

Here are some harpoons and other tools for the harvesting of various sea mammals.......seals, walrus and whales. All of the lithic blades and points were damaged pieces that I restored. I made the accessories from bone, antler and other materials. The pieces are reasonable facsimiles of the originals that reside in various museum collections.

Re: Harpoons

Very skilled hands indeed. Do you have native american linage in you, or did you develope such talent on your own. You sure did a fine job on these tools......most impressed!

Re: Harpoons

Well now, thank you for your compliments. My ancestry is Nordic but during the European Neolithic period those folks produced wonderful lithic, bone, antler and ivory projectile points and other objects of interest.
