what type of tool is this and what is it used for?

Hope you don't mind me posting your photo so others can check it out directly. It looks like a very small punch tool of some sort.

Congrats Duker, You found a nice Graver...a perforating tool much like a small drill! I think you are on to something, so keep digging!!!
