Hey diggers. Happy new digging year to all; been awhile since I've had time to get out and dig something worth posting about.
My diggin partner and I discovered an untouched mound a couple weeks ago, and got a chance to get into it pretty good this last weekend for a day.
The first pic is what we found when we discovered the mound... 3 top pieces were surface finds, the rest dug from a small test hole.
Second pic is the "first dig".
Any ideas on typeology, second pic top right? Sure does look perty whatever it is!
