Time to clean out the tool shed!

Most of these were found at a site near Smithwick, mostly on the surface on Lake Travis ..Hey its time to go huntin! Anyone ever seen what I call the Pac man rocks on the lower right? I havent but I know they were some sort of tool!!Texas Tools

Re: Time to clean out the tool shed!

Yer tool box is a little out of date bud.

Not sure on the pac man rock although I'd make an educated guess and say some sorta arrow or atlal shaft working tool.

I found this one a while back that has me boggled:

Re: Time to clean out the tool shed!

I've never seen ry's pac man rocks before, but I have seen many Hafting tools like yours Brad. The notch is key, and I bet it's razor sharp for splitting and twist cutting wood branches. It doubles as a good scraping tool as well with that worked edge at the bottom. They made it so it can be hand held firmly allowing for much pressure to be distributed. A very nice tool and find!

Re: Time to clean out the tool shed!

Geofactfan, Just look at that worked beveled bottom edge, and the notch, look at how deeply fluted it is. It's like I said before, the notch is key.
